To all the boys I've loved before

The perfect book for summer-reading by Jenny Han.
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister's ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after all.

Another book that I was craving to read this summer.
Sorry for this late late late review, I've been really busy with school.

At first the book is kind of slow (the first pages are just like a description of Lara Jean's life), but that changes radically when all the letters are sent. By the way, I think that the letter thing is a great idea, be sure if you write them that they are in a secure place where nobody can find them (and not in a hatbox).

When I read the synopsis I thought that the main plot would be the letters, I don't know maybe trying to rescue them before the addressee reads them or something like that. However the letters are just a excuse for the main plot: pretend to be dating a guy you don't like so the boy you actually like doesn't know you like him. Yeah perfect plan, nothing could go wrong. And also the boy you like is your sister's ex boyfriend.

For the first time in the history of books.... there's a love "square". Not a love triangle, a love square! At least it isn't annoying.

Suspense is nonexistent, the person who sent all the letters is easy to guess since the moment they were sent. Thus there aren't any plot twist.

I didn't expect a second book but it is totally necessary that book. Dear Peter...
