The sequel of If I stay by Gayle Forman.
It's been three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life.
And three years he's spent wondering why.
When their paths cross again in New York City, Adam and Mia are brought back together for one life-changing night.
Adam finally has the opportunity to ask Mia the questions that have been haunting him. But will a few hours in this magical city be enough to lay their past to rest, for good - or can you really have a second chance at first love?

It is said the second parts are worse, in my opinion Where She Went isn't one of those. All the answers I was craving are all in one book ("Mia?" he asks leaves some questions). At the end I thought that Mia would wake up and she'd stay with Adam forever... but no.
At least Where She Went is slightly longer than its predecessor (it was one of the things that I complained about If I Stay).
The biggest difference between the previous book is that now, in Where She Went, it's told from Adam's point of view.
After three years the character of Adam has changed a lot, almost unrecognizable, he's the lead singer of his now famous band, he smokes, his girlfriend's an actress...
Like If I Stay the happens within 24h and flashbacks. The flashbacks are mostly things after the car accident, the reasons why Mia walked out of Adam's life (ANSWERS!!!! YESSS). In my opinion there should be more present without removing the memories, here's a hint... a longer book.
At the begging of some the chapters there are lyrics of Adam's songs, I love this detail. With the lyrics you can understand everything he went through, the rage and sadness he felt.
