The Retribution of Mara Dyer

It's done, no more Mara and Noah *goes to a dark corner and cries*
Mara Dyer wants to believe there's more to the lies she’s been told.
There is.

She doesn’t stop to think about where her quest for the truth might lead.
She should.

She never had to imagine how far she would go for vengeance.
She will now.

Loyalties are betrayed, guilt and innocence tangle, and fate and chance collide in this shocking conclusion to Mara Dyer’s story.

Retribution has arrived.

Before I start this review I have to say that my heart was shattered several times while I was reading The Retribution of Mara Dyer. Now you are all warned.

Michelle Hodkin excelled, magnificent this book. It's the perfect end for the Mara Dyer trilogy. Everything good comes to an end I guess.

In this third book we explore Mara's darkest side, after losing Noah and being trapped in a mental hospital, if you could call it that way. Every day that passes by without Noah, Mara becomes less human and more the monster she doesn't want to be.

After all importance that Kells had in the books I expeted her dead different, for me her dead went unnoticed like "So is she dead now?".

Without Noah the book seems slower however it isn't boring at all. I enjoyed every single word of The Retribution of Mara Dyer.

Stella's departure was, in my opinion, abrupt. Yeah maybe she had her reasons but there's nothing about her from then on.

Do you remember in the first book the letter at the beginning?
"My name is not Mara Dyer, but my lawyer told me I had to choose something..."
Just keep that letter on mind. I'll just say that.

To sum up, the Mara Dyer saga is in my opinion the best paranormal book ever, I totally recommned it to everyone. I can't believe everything is over now.
Thank you Michelle for these great books.
